Xanadu Villas Zanzibar Accommodation

Xanadu Villas & Retreat is located on one of the finest beaches on the South-East coast of Zanzibar. We offer six unique and individually designed villas within a tropical garden and laundry service, Internet/Wi-Fi, and fridge. Four of our villas feature a spacious lounge & kitchen and three of our villas have direct beach access.

Xanadu’s one bedroom Kimwondo Villa has sitting areas inside and outside and features a spectacular rooftop with a plunge pool and sitting area with views of the Indian Ocean.

Xanadu’s two bedroom Mlima and Korongo Villas feature private bathrooms, spacious lounge areas and private plunge pools.

The presidential Mbingu Villa is beach front and features two bedrooms with ocean view balconies, private bathrooms and sitting areas, a majestic lounge and two private plunge pools of which one is on the roof top.

Xanadu’s cosy one bedroom Umande Villa is beach front, has sitting areas inside and outside, a private bathroom and a private plunge pool.

Next to Umande villa is the one bedroom Alfajiri Villa which is, in fact, Xanadu’s honeymoon suite. The Villa is beachfront, features one bedroom, a spacious lounge, a private plunge pool and a romantic balcony with ocean view.

Xanadu’s private villas are exclusively available with All Inclusive accommodation, all meals & drinks are included (except premiums) as well as an international chef. Guests will enjoy our cuisine with local spices, vegetables, and herbs grown in our garden complimented with handpicked wines from around the world.

Xanadu comprises of six villas in total, each with a unique set up and architecture. Each villa features a private butler, plunge pool, outside shower, bathroom(s) with his & her sinks, linen and towels, daily housekeeping and laundry service, Internet/Wi-Fi, and fridge.

Xanadu’s on-site activities manager can arrange a variety of watersport activities or excursions around the island. Guided activities including sea kayaking, snorkelling and Sup boarding from Xanadu’s beach are included. In our private Kiota Spa guests can indulge in various treatments to feel completely renewed and refreshed.

Xanadu’s Kiota Spa

Xanadu firmly believe that to truly settle into the pace of Zanzibar, one must find their own rhythm in time with the waves, the sway of the palm trees and the underlying East African beat. With this in mind, Xanadu’s Kiota Spa provides the perfect relaxation and holistic spa services.

The Kiota Spa, nestled near the beach, invites guests to relax and recharge: massages, manicures, pedicures and treatments are offered in-room or in the Kiota spa right at the beach. Products used by their professional therapists are from Africology or locally sourced and produced.
